New Obsession

Zoe: So...we all know Lia has an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder - so when she gets a new toy (or bucket) she is obsessed with it and doesn't care much about anything else...

Zoe: ..which is wonderful because one gets a break from "HEY, WANNA PLAY? HUH? C'MON, LET'S PLAY. AW, C'MON...WANNA?"

....and the break is wonderful - it's like she's not even around.............ahhhhhhhhhh...........

Lia: Oh, God, who's this? She's small and wirey - like you.

Zoe: This is Maggie. She's Tena's 'lil girl - and she's sitting on Aunti Santi's lap at Mommy's office.


Lia: Cute. and there's something about her name....

Zoe: Yah. Mommy won't stop singing that Rod Stewart "Maggie Mae" song: "..wake up Maggie I think I got sumthin to say to yooooouu..."

Lia: Does Maggie sing that song too?

Zoe: (...you're just plain dumb...)

The End of Life as She Knows It...

Lia: Rumor has it you....were in the gazebo, jumped on the love seat, jumped onto the top of the railing, cruised it like a balance beam and sailed off into the yard, went from 0 to 30 mph in less than 4 seconds and jumped the fence to go play with the neighbors dog.
